Emily Nemens at the GDBS

The Garden District Book Shop is thrilled to announce that author Emily Nemens will visit the shop on April 13 to celebrate her latest book Clutch.

Clutch is a big, beautiful, and deeply absorbing novel that asks how much space and heart we can give to our friends and our families, and what space we can save for ourselves. It follows a group of five friends as they navigate the biggest challenges of their lives, asking: When you’re hanging on by your fingernails, how can you extend a hand to the ones you love?

The evening will begin at 6:00 PM. Nemens will be joined in conversation by fellow author Joshua Wheeler. Nemens will be available after the discussion to sign copies of her book. The event is free and open to the public but interested parties are encouraged to RSVP ahead of time and reserve their copies of Clutch…
